Mr. ESE's Adventure v0.13.0b


After a well-deserved hiatus from developing this project, I am now ready to deliver another beta build!  It took me a lot of willpower to get back into this project, but I hope itā€™ll all be worth it in the end.  Unfortunately however, due to low motivation, this major beta release isnā€™t as complete as similar builds Iā€™ve released in the past, but hopefully Iā€™ll be able to fix that in the upcoming hotfixes.

Patch notes

+New storyline; After defeating the Horned Flapper, the DownTownean Dream Team press forward on their adventure, this time coming to a volcanic island, seeming to be quite uninhabitable.  Regardless, they press forward with their quest and head into a cave on the island, hoping to find... well, anything.

+ Added the following plugins:

  1. CGMV Crafting; Kinda self-explanatory.  Do I even need to get into detail with this one?  However, I will not be implementing this plugin until a later build.
  2. CGMV Game Over; Useful for upgrading the Game Over screen.
  3. SRD Timer Upgrade; for now, so that I could add time to a certain event.

+The nature fairy now has facial expressions!  Special thanks to Avery on the RPG Maker Forum for supplying the assets used in the project.

+Added a very interesting game over graphic that only appears in certain circumstances

*Yes, technically the right music played when you went from the forest into the cave on the Fairy Island, but changed up the music so that the right tracks played when you went the other direction.

*Updated Mr. ESEā€™s bio to reflect updated DownTownean Trilogies lore

*Touched up the end credits (again)

*Finally fixed that weird bug in Graceā€™s prison cell in the Camp Laryss Dungeons

-Removed the false game over events that toggled whenever the player was defeated by a boss or punished by the narrator for doing something bad and allowed the game to roll the beta end credits
